We know you love the Bahamas. Really love it. So in our quest to bring you the best Bahamas vacation ideas anywhere, I'm about to head off to a whirlwind trip of Nassau Paradise Island. Yes, I'll bring you even more fresh photos and travel tips from a stay at The Cove Atlantis to supplement our Why We Love Atlantis photo gallery. But I'll also being staying at the Sheraton Nassau and touring the One&Only Ocean Club and Graycliff Hotel. One of the things I like best about cruising is the utter lack of airplanes involved. It's not that I mind flying, it’s all the hassle before you board. Plus, I'm an unrepentant overpacker, so those baggage fees really add up. Luckily, I live in Florida, so I've long had my pick of ports that are an easy drive away—Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Port Canaveral, even Tampa. It’s a big convenience, and a money-saver as well. Parking fees are a fraction of what you’d pay for an airline ticket, and you can take as many bags as your car will hold. Not to mention that there’s no need to worry about a missed or delayed flight. And not having to add an overnight hotel stay more than makes up for any added travel time.

After our trip to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, we felt inspired to create a playlist of Latin Music hits, for your Salsa-dancing, Reggaeton-pumping, Merengue-moving listening pleasure. There are some classics faves on there (Carlos Vives, Ilegales) and some new faves to watch (Romeo Santos, Don Omar). In the words of Pitbull, "No pare la fiesta!"
