Dress like a flower - and smell like one - if you want lots of attention at one of the Caribbean's four Butterfly Farms, where wearing bright colors and perfume will encourage the delicate insects to alight on you (and, perhaps, endear you to fellow visitors). The newest farm, on St. Thomas, is housed in a mesh enclosure that's like a greenhouse without glass. Koi ponds burble as you wander amid dazzling tropical foliage and 34 butterfly species from as far away as Africa and Southeast Asia. On the informative hourly tour, you can learn all about the creatures' life cycles. Early risers get to see butterflies at their most active and, if they're lucky, witness newborns emerging from glittering jewel-like chrysalises. Other farms are on Aruba, Grand Cayman, and St. Martin. thebutterflyfarm.com
