Think you have what it takes to compete in a one-mile, open-water swimming race? When I reported on the first annual Race for the Conch Eco-Seaswim in the Turks and Caicos last month, I thought I could wing it...I mean, how hard could it be? Swimming a mile could only take, what – 5 minutes? I'm an optimist. But standing along Grace Bay Beach and checking out the course buoys for the first time......
In preparation for the one-mile Race for the Conch Eco-Seaswim tomorrow morning, we just wrapped up an intense three-hour clinic with US Masters swimming instructor, Clay Britt, at the Seven Stars Resort pool – and I'll just say it, I'm exhausted....
