Top Caribbean Star: James Bond or Jack Sparrow?

As Skyfall opens today, we're both elated (love Bond) and deflated (what, no Caribbean scenes?!) here at CT+L. James Bond has done more to promote the genuine coolness of the Caribbean more than any other star. That's why we created the James Bond Guide to the Caribbean. But if you're a Pirates of the Caribbean fan, you might be thinking Captain Jack Sparrow is the greatest movie star when it comes to promoting the Caribbean. The debate is raging here at CT+L offices on a Friday afternoon.

It's up to you to decide on the CT+L Facebook page. It's really too close to call. We could be going at this all day. Even the real people behind these characters are tied to the Caribbean. On one hand, Ian Fleming has a legitimate connection to the Caribbean at his beloved GoldenEye resort. On the other hand, Johnny Depp loves the Caribbean so much, he has a private island in the Exumas. We can't decide!
