When it comes to packing for a Caribbean vacation, we seasoned island-hoppers rely on basic Carry-On 101 – such as bringing only blacks, whites and neutrals to easily mix-and-match outfits, and rolling everything to save space in your bag. But we know you have a few tricks up your sleeves, too, so last week we asked our Facebook fans for their best packing tips. Here are just a few...

– "It's better to have and not need, than to need and not have!"
– "Put at least one of your outfits in your partner's suitcase, and theirs in yours – so if the luggage is lost, you'll still have one outfit!"
– "[Include] dryer sheets for a nice, fresh scent!"
– "Only bring a carry-on...hotel laundry is less expensive than excess baggage fees."
– "I always pack a six-outlet surge strip – there never seem to be enough outlets, especially on a cruise ship..."
