Since 1960 Small Hope Bay Lodge has been hosting scuba divers, snorkelers, fishermen, eco-tourists, and relaxers at our out island hideaway on the beach. Small Hope Bay Lodge is situated on Andros Island just a short boat ride from the world's third largest coral reef. The diving and bonefishing are nothing less than spectacular, but what really sets Small Hope apart is its unique heritage, its simple and friendly ambience, and something from the soul that simply cannot be cloned or imitated.

Small Hope has 21 rooms in cottages right on one of their two beaches. We are an all-inclusive property. Our all-inclusive means that your beachfront cottage accommodations, all meals (great food), drinks (open bar), evening conch fritter hors d'oeuvres, Discover Scuba or snorkeling lesson, kayaks, bikes, windsurfers, nature trails, Escape sailboat, Hobie Cat, hot tub on the beach, and all hotel taxes are included in your rate. For those of you on the dive package you also get 3 dives per day plus weights, tanks, and belt (if you are staying at least 7 nights, you get a free night dive). You can also be on the "vacationer" package and pay for your dives or snorkel trips a la carte. We also have fishing trips (excellent bonefishing - reef and deep sea also available), guided half day eco-trips, massage, Androsia batik demos, and a gift shop all available for an additional fee.

Small Hope has over 60 dive sites within 15 minutes of our dock and dive centre which are located on property just steps away from the lounge and outdoor patio. The diversity of our diving is amazing with inland and ocean blue holes, great wall dives, caverns, wrecks, coral gardens, and even a shark dive. We are happy to introduce new divers to the sport and full instruction is available. One on one specialty dives can also be arranged to our inland blue holes or deeper wall dive sites. With 5 instructors and 1 dive master on staff your opportunities for an individualized experience are readily available. We have been diving the Andros Barrier Reef since 1960 - no one knows it better.
