The adults-only Almond Beach Club is an all-inclusive beachfront resort in the parish of St. James, set on the famous Gold Coast of Barbados, approximately 19 miles from Grantley Adams International Airport. Downtown Bridgetown is approximately seven miles away and Folkestone Marine Park is less than a mile from the property.Almond guests have access to sailboats, snorkeling, windsurfing, pedal boats and kayaks plus water skis, banana boats, and a lit tennis court. In addition, the resort has three freshwater swimming pools, as well as a cool freshwater whirlpool for guests to luxuriate in. Guests can also enjoy spa treatments, massages, a sauna, fitness center, billiards, room service, gift and convenience shops, and a game room. Dining options include three on-site restaurants and two bars.This property's all-inclusive package includes three meals a day, snacks, non-motorized watersports, golf and squash at the Almond Beach Village, aerobics, Dine-Around program, lunch and dinner room service, all beverages, nightly entertainment, late night disco at Almond Beach Village, manager's cocktail parties, tennis, use of the fitness center and beach towels, and all taxes and gratuities.This resort offers 161 guestrooms in seven three- and four-story multicolored buildings that form a U-shape around a central pool-and-garden courtyard. Decor features cool tropical colors and tile floors. Ceiling fans and louvered panels or windows provide a cooling alternative to air-conditioning. Some guestrooms have French balconies.Note: This resort is for guests 16 and older. In the resort's restaurants and shops, guests must wear shoes and a cover over bathing suits. Men may not wear tank-tops or sleeveless shirts. After 6:30 p., no shorts or short outfits are allowed.
