Overview

Gran Bahia Principe Ambar All Inclusive is located in Playa Bavaro Higuey, next to the new Golf Club Punta Blanca, and approximately 30 minutes from Punta Cana Airport and 90 minutes from La Romana Airport. This is a Caribbean-style hotel with a hint of Colonial decoration. It is on a white-sand beach that stretches for over 700 meters and is surrounded by tropical vegetation.All-inclusive dining is available at the Main Restaurant (international buffet) and three a la carte specialty restaurants: Gourmet, Italian, and Seafood. A maximum of three a la carte are included per week. There are seven total restaurants in the complex. A lobby bar, pool bar, and 24-hour snack bar (only soft drinks after midnight) are also available. Large sun terraces and gardens with sunshades and sun beds surround the resort's swimming pool. These facilities are not directly at the hotel but shared within the Bahia Principe Complex and included in the all-inclusive rate (unless noted): amphitheatre for entertainment programs and shows, tennis courts and mini golf, water sports and diving center on the beach (with extra charge), spa and gym, meeting rooms, and gazebo for weddings.Pueblo Principe is a Caribbean-style shopping and entertainment center located at the main entrance to the hotel area. Here you can enjoy daily entertainment with live music, a variety of shows, disco, karaoke, bars, Internet, medical service, a casino, and various shops: handicraft, clothes, gifts, music, photography, jewelry, etc.Rest and relax in a Junior Suite with hydromassage bath tub and separated jet shower with hydromassage. All rooms include two full-size or one king bed, sofa beds, air-conditioning and ceiling fans, full bathrooms, hairdryers, vanity mirrors, scales, alarm clocks, coffeemakers, plasma TVs, direct-dial phones, private safes (no extra charge), minibars, and balconies or terraces.
